COLORS

This was my Senior Thesis project at CCS - To make these photographs, I took a digital photo, put it into Photoshop, removed all of the black, and printed the rest of the colors on special artist paper. Then, I took the black layer that was removed, inverted it, and printed that onto transparency film. I took the paper with the colors printed on it and painted a chemical over the print area, called Platinum Palladium. I put the 8x10 negative I made over top, lined it up the best I could, put it under glass and exposed it to light to bring out the black in the areas I wanted.
